BLAIR MCKEIL (built 2010) downbound November 1, 2024.

A regular on the St. Lawrence Seaway, she now sports a pair of jib cranes.




RF MARINA (built 2011) upbound November 2, 2024.

(sailed previously as ADFINES SKY and OSTTANK FINLAND)

A few Seaway trips this season for this tanker flagged out of Malta.






LUDOGORETS (built 2010) upbound November 2, 2024.

Gliding across the glassy water, her name "LUDOGORETS" means "wild forest".

Sailed previously as MARBACAN and FRITZ.





ALGOMA DISCOVERY (built 1987) upbound November 4, 2024.

(sailed previously as MALINSKA of the Croatia Line and DAVIKEN of Viken Shipping)

Sister vessel to ALGOMA GUARDIAN (and retired vessel ALGOMA SPIRIT).






FEDERAL MAYUMI (built 2012) downbound November 4, 2024

A few round trips on the season for the MAYUMI, sister vessel to FEDERAL SATSUKI.





OAKGLEN (built 1980) downbound November 5, 2024.

Standing tall, OAKGLEN approaches Iroquois.

(Before being acquired by CSL, she once sailed as FEDERAL DANUBE)





FEDERAL DELTA (built 2018) upbound November 5, 2024

After exiting the Seaway, she made a stop in Montreal before departing for Paranagua, Brazil.

ALGOMA BUFFALO (built 1978) downbound November 10, 2024

(sailed previously as BUFFALO for the American Steamship Company)





ARGENTIA DESGAGNES (built 2007) upbound November 19, 2024.

Crane ship from Groupe Desgagnes, with a pair of 35 ton cranes.

At the time of writing, was en route to Argentia, Newfoundland.





IRMA (built 2000) travelling upbound November 20, 2024 from Brazil to Hamilton.

(sister vessels ISA, ISADORA and IRYDA)




LAVRAKI (built 2007) upbound November 20, 2024 for Clarkson, Ontario.

(sailed previously as FAIRCHEM FILLY)

First time on the Seaway for this tanker, flagged out of the Marshall Islands.




ALGOTERRA (built 2010) upbound November 20, 2024

(sailed previously as LOUISE KNUTSEN)

She's put in a few Seaway seasons as a familiar red tanker.

Fully initiated into the Bear clan with a coat of Algoma blue.






PEYTON LYNN C (built 2007) upbound November 20, 2024

(sailed previously as GESINA SCHEPERS and EEMSDIJK)

Always a treat to see this container ship. She hasn't appeared on the Seaway for a couple of seasons.
